Standard Commander/cEDH League Fridays

$10 Entry fee: you choose 1 Play Booster pack for yourself and 1 Play Booster Pack for the prize pool. End of night top 4 split the prize pool. 
 

Friday Night Commander House Rules:

• Keep decks at a Bracket 4 or lower. (Bracket Chart below for reference.)

• Allowed a maximum of 5 proxies of cards you don't own and that do not exceed a $40 price point each.

• Official Commander Ban List is followed.

• You do not have to play the same deck the entire night.

• Please have a Rule 0 conversation with your potential pod.***

• There is a soft 5 minute turn rule. If you need more because you're just learning the deck okay, but if it turns out you're just dortling and slow playing you get one warning then you take a loss. (please police yourselves on this but let us know if you do give someone a warning so we can keep tabs)

• We will pair you up for the initial pods. After that pods will go: 1st places in one pod 2nd places in another pod, etc.

• You are given 2 chips for the night. You will give these chips to a player in your pod who did something awesome, played right, didn't miss triggers, you liked their deck idea because it was unique, etc. Whatever the reason is, you can hand them a chip. The chip itself is worth an additional 1 point. You can only give out 1 chip per game.

• PLEASE SELF REPORT AFTER EACH GAME TO HELP STREAMLINE THE NIGHT

Point breakdown is as follows: 1st- 6 points

                                                    3rd- 2 points

                                                    4th and beyond-1 point

What Your Entry Fee Gets You/Prizing
Your $10 gets you 2 play booster packs (your choice). One pack for your entry and one pack to the overall prize pool for the night. End of night we split the prize pool between the top 4 players.

Friday Night Commander Raffle

Each Friday I will have a few items up for raffle. You must be participating in the pay-to-play Friday Night Commander. For every $10 you spend in store you get a ticket. You can buy tickets at $10/each as well if you don't see anything you want to purchase but would like to throw your name a few more times into the bag(s).You will simply take any amount of tickets you earn/purchase throughout the night and place them in the corresponding bag. The Raffle will be done at 9pm...or as close to 9pm as possible. We will shake the bag, reach in, and pull out a name. Congrats! You win and get whatever item it might be! If you leave before the drawing and your name is called, we draw another name out of the bag.

***During your Rule 0 Conversation please try to keep things as honest and forthcoming as possible. Do not under represent your deck in hopes of winning for the night because we will deck check you if someone asks and you will be DQ'ed for running a cEDH Level deck in the Standard Commander League. We have a cEDH League running in tandum on Fridays for people who want to play over optimized/competitive decks.

• At the beginning of the night players get to choose how to do prizing for the night: Your $10 is split and $5 to the house and $5 to the prize pool with the prize pool split between the top 4 that night OR 1 play booster to you and 1 play booster to the prize pool with that prize pool split between top 4.
